Ou vision for working abroad
German Startup Award 2023

Why This Nomination Means So Much to Us

The journey of rhome has been anything but easy – three new ventures, countless challenges, and many learnings later, we now stand here: a company that already enables around 10,000 users to work abroad with confidence.

Julia-Sophie built rhome with a clear vision: working abroad must be simple, secure, and feasible for companies. With her background as a startup mentor, coach, and researcher in entrepreneurship, she brought a wealth of knowledge – but the reality of building her own company taught her that resilience, failure, and growth must not only be taught, but lived.

rhome – Our Contribution to the Future of Working Abroad

At rhome, we work every day to ensure that working abroad does not become a legal or administrative nightmare for companies.

âś… Automated risk assessments: Companies immediately know which regulations apply

âś… Clear recommendations for minimizing risks

âś… Intuitive processes that drastically reduce administrative workload

We make it possible for companies to avoid getting lost in bureaucracy – so they can focus on what truly matters: their people and their business.

German Startup Awards – A Milestone for Us

The nomination at the German Startup Awards is an incredible recognition for us as a team. It shows that with rhome, we are making a real difference. Julia-Sophie, as a founder, embodies what our company stands for: courage, innovation, and the relentless drive to shape new paths.

We are proud of our CEO, proud of our team, and truly excited about this recognition!
