In December 2022, we had the opportunity to take part in the grand finale of the VIR & TIC Travel Start-up Nights in Frankfurt with rhome – a stage that puts young, innovative companies from the tourism and mobility sector in the spotlight. For us, it was not just a competition, but a special moment to share our vision for the future of work.
Our Pitch: Remote Work with Security and Substance
On stage, our Co-Founder Dr. Julia-Sophie Ezinger presented how rhome supports companies in implementing cross-border work in a legally compliant and seamless way. Because we believe: if people want to work remotely from abroad, bureaucracy should not stand in the way—neither for them nor for their employers.

Audience & Jury: Lots of Positive Feedback
The evening was full of energy, smart questions, and great ideas – and we are proud that our solution for structured remote work was received so positively. In the end, we secured second place, but even more importantly: we gained many new contacts, conversations, and valuable insights.
Our Conclusion
The finale showed us how strong the demand for new, flexible working models has become in the travel industry – and how crucial it is to create legally compliant frameworks. That is exactly what we stand for at rhome.
