On September 28, we had the pleasure of taking part in the 7th Agile Evening at FH Salzburg ā an event dedicated to nothing less than shaping the future of work. Organized by agiler.kreis, an engaged transfer platform between research, teaching, and practice, the evening carried the motto āWe move the world of work.ā And thatās exactly what could be felt: more than 100 participants discussed, questioned, and inspired each other on how we want to shape New Work and location-independent work in the future ā in a time when people no longer live to work, but work to live.

For us at rhome, it was a great honor that our founder Dr. Julia-Sophie Ezinger was invited as one of the four speakers. In her talk, she shared her journey from a corporate career to entrepreneurship and how a vision turned into a concrete product: rhome.
With rhome, we make location-independent work abroad simple, secure, and legally compliant ā because we believe that New Work concepts like workplace flexibility are not just perks, but true levers for engagement, retention, and quality of life.
Alongside Julia, we enjoyed inspiring insights into other New Work topics:
Manuela Fuchshofer and Julia VoĆmann from dm drogerie markt Austria showed how shared leadership works in practice.
Selina Schwarzenbacher, FH graduate and founder of Euro Yachting, impressed with entrepreneurial courage and determination.
Sarah Irina Dƶrler from Rock your Work inspired the audience with her vision of turning employees into true fans.
Conclusion: The Future of Work is New Work
The evening once again confirmed: the future of work is not just a research topic ā it has already arrived in practice. That makes formats like Agile Evening even more important: they bring people and perspectives together around New Workand location-independent work, creating space for genuine exchange.
A big thank you to FH Salzburg and agiler.kreis for the invitation and this successful event!
